Do you send a regular eNewsletter to your clients or prospects? We'd like to explain the benefits if not, and perhaps offer some tips if you already are producing one. Two Heads - and sister company WPS Media - have a great deal of experience helping companies communicate with their customers and sales prospects.

Thoughtfully produced eNewsletters work. They are appreciated by recipients and help build a strong and loyal brand following.

It is far more cost-effective to send electronic newsletters as opposed to their printed counterparts, but be careful not to fall into the 'spam' trap. Avoid purchasing bulk emailing lists as they have often been harvested without the email owners express permission and will almost certainly result in you being classed as a 'spammer'.

Build your direct marketing email list in an ethical manner. Start with your existing customer list. Ask them if they would mind you contacting them on a more frequent basis to let them know of any special offers, new services/products and share useful information. Add to this list your current known best prospects. Again ask if they mind you contacting them. Always honour 'unsubscribe' requests immediately and without fuss. A good list and newsletter will result in very few such removal requests.

Include a 'subscribe to our Newsletter' link on your website, Blog and Social Media channels. This way you'll be gaining new prospects with very little effort.

Content is King

We recommend a monthly, or bi-monthly eNewsletter for most companies. It really depends on how much content can be (or can afford to be) generated to make each issue newsworthy and different from the last. Think of the eNewsletters you already receive in your own in-box. Ask yourself which appeals to you most, what's the right length of the stories (and the entire newsletter) and what kind of content interests you?

Every business is different and your own customers will have specific needs. Newsletters should be light, interesting and sometimes fun! Bear in mind that the attention span of a typical reader will be measured more in seconds, than minutes!

Two Heads can assist with the content as well as the design and distribution. Each of our eNewsletters is bespoke to the client and very targeted to their needs. We only use trained and qualified journalists.

Distribute the Right Way

We also have our own long-established bulk email distribution server that is guaranteed 'non-spam' recognised the world over, so you can be sure that your message is delivered to the right recipient. It is very easy for companies starting out with mass-emailing to get their domain/website black-listed and that can result in your normal company mail not being delivered! It's extremely difficult to then get off these black-lists.

Our eNewsletters are full graphic-rich HTML format with all media files storied on our own server, so there is no 'load' on your own website/server. This also means that no attachments are ever sent to your recipients - meaning it is most unlikely your newsletter will get caught in spam filters. We also aim to eliminate any words that might affect the 100% delivery to your list.

We can also assist with targeted list-building and have done this on a number of occasions for clients.

Ask us for Help

We're here to help. If you are wondering whether an eNewsletter would work for you and want us to come up with ideas, then please let us know and we'll provide a free estimate for the services we can offer. Likewise, if you are already producing something, perhaps with another external agency, and just want a quote for a better or more cost-efective service, then we'd be pleased to hear from you.
